CHARACTERISTICS :
DERPHOS converts iron oxides and calamine into iron phosphate without damaging the metal. The obtained homogeneous phosphating allows a perfect primer for all kind of coatings. DERPHOS is used in all cases of oxidation or calamine’s problem.
APPLICATIONS :
Treatment of structural steel elements, automobile bodys, in painting workshops, boiler making, public works, marine…
RECOMMENDATIONS :
For the surfaces treated with DERPHOS which intends to receive a coating, eliminates the impurities adhering to the support with a brush soaked with DERPHOS. Let completely dry before applying a coating. In case the treated parts are stored, DERPHOS continues to work and ensure a more resistant protection. DERPHOS is recommended on galvanized, tinned, chromed materials, on iron and on grounded and precision parts.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
DERPHOS is always diluted in water at a rate of 4 times its volume. PREFERABLY IN BATH : In all cases the size of the parts allows it, immerse the part and let the product work depending
on the level of oxidation. BY SPRAYING OR WITH A PENCIL : Each time the size of the parts does not allow immersing. In some cases a second application may be required until the rust has disappeared.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND PRECAUTIONS :
To use DERPHOS, use protection to avoid all contact with the skin (protective gloves, safety glasses, aprons…) Avoid all
contact with the skin. If necessary effluents have to be neutralized (until PH between 6.5-7.5) before discharge.
